Acting classes for children and teenagers aged 7–18 at Ellistown Primary School, near Coalville.
At Young Actors Academy, students explore characters, work with scripts and rehearse for productions—learning how to turn an idea on the page into a performance on stage.
Our separate Junior and Senior classes give young people space to develop at their own pace, build friendships and take on new challenges with encouragement from experienced teachers.
🎭 Junior Acting | Ages 7–11
Imaginative drama activities, character work and rehearsals help children develop their voices, express ideas and work together. Students learn the foundations of acting while enjoying the excitement of creating a show.
🎭 Senior Acting | Ages 12–18
Students explore scripts, character motivation, voice and movement, developing the skills to create believable performances. Rehearsals encourage independence, teamwork and confidence in sharing ideas.
Performance opportunities give both groups something to work towards and the chance to share their achievements with family and friends.
Whether your child loves being on stage or needs encouragement to speak up, our classes help them grow as a performer and communicator.
