Come and visit Oxfordshire’s original and best Paint-Your-Own pottery and craft studio. We specialise in pottery painting, Decopatch, mosaics and block printing. We have a high chair and bumbo seat so our youngest artists can join in the fun, too.

We love to encourage creativity! Our quirky studio offers children’s workshops every Tuesday and Thursday throughout the school holidays. With our beautifully decorate shop, you’ll have endless amounts of inspiration.

We have a huge selection of gorgeous pottery to help you capture those tiny hand and footprints. Our lovely staff are well practised at getting the perfect prints from all ages. We can print onto pottery, in clay, plaster, silver and even take 3d casts. We also do a free coaster for under 6 week olds.

We’re a great venue for children’s parties and have a range of party packages.

We recommend booking during busy periods.

“I’m hungry!” - We have a selection of teas, coffees and cold drinks, as well as cakes to enjoy whilst your with us. We are always happy to warm baby food and can provide hot water. You’re also welcome to breastfeed in our studio.

“I need a wee!” - We have a toilet with a baby changing space. Please note our toilet is upstairs, but a neighbouring café is happy for our less mobile customers to use theirs.

“Are we there yet?” - From the A40 take the exit to Witney. Follow signs for the town centre and park in any of the town’s free car parks (Woolgate & Marriotts are the closest, less than 5 minutes’ walk away). You’ll find us at 48 High Street, look out for the giant unicorn standing outside!

Top Tops: The Pottery Place has a big supply of aprons for everyone in the family, but it’s a good idea not to wear your favourite clothes, just in case!

Disabled Access: We have a downstairs table which can be used to do all the activities we offer, please let us know in advance so we can reserve the table for you.
