At babyballet, we make learning to dance an unforgettable and magical experience – for you and your little star. From six months to six years, our babyballet classes will give your child the chance to dance, gain confidence and shine, in a fun, caring and supportive environment.
At babyballet, we offer four stages of ballet dance classes, for young children aged 6 months to 6 years, plus a tap dancing class for children over 3 years.
Our classes are a great way for parents and carers to meet up and make new friends too!

By learning through play, our qualified and welcoming teachers give babies, tots, toddlers, pre-schoolers and young children the chance to dance in their own unique way, having fun and making friends along the way. For your added reassurance, all our ballet lessons are linked to the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework (EYFSF), making them the perfect activity choice for you and your child.
From 6 months the class is a very gentle introduction to the class environment. As the syllabus progresses the children in Tinies (18 months to 3 years) are encouraged to develop their movement and communication skills on their own but still with their grown-up close by. The basics of ballet are introduced through bespoke babyballet® songs, classic nursery rhymes, imaginative stories and musical instruments.
Our programme and syllabus has been carefully designed by leading preschool dance and ballet experts. Our classes provide the opportunity for babies and young children to learn to dance and develop key life skills in a healthy, sociable, caring and safe environment. babyballet is so much more than just a dance class and we can't wait to welcome you to our magical world.

Tinies (18 mths - 3 yrs) @ 9.30am & 11.45am
Movers (3 and 4 yrs) @ 10.25am
Groovers (4.5-6yrs) @ 11.05am

Join babyballet for a three week trial for just ÂŁ30! Subsequent classes are ÂŁ48 per month paid by monthly direct debit (over 11 months Aug-Jun) and there is a one off membership fee of ÂŁ14.

Meet Miss Shanelle
I’m the proud owner of babyballet Wimbledon, and a mum to three wonderful children.
Dance has always been a huge part of my life having started my first classes when I was just 4 years old. Dance became a huge part of my life, completing all my dance exams and competing in competitions across Australia (where I grew up). I went on to complete my dance teaching qualifications alongside becoming a Primary School teacher. After having children of my own, I decided to step into running a babyballet Franchise, and I’m so grateful to now be sharing that passion with the next generation through babyballet. It’s a joy to be part of a programme that introduces children to dance in such a fun, caring, and supportive way.
As a parent myself, I understand how important it is to find a class where your child feels safe, happy, and excited to learn. At babyballet Wimbledon, we strive to create a nurturing space where every child can grow in confidence, make friends, and develop a lifelong love of movement.
Although I’m not always in class, I love connecting with our babyballet families whenever I get the chance. We would love to welcome you into our magical classes!
