Baby Sensory classes are designed to give your baby the best start in life through carefully created activities that stimulate the senses and support early learning and development. Each Baby Sensory session is backed by a detailed lesson plan that guides everything your baby touches, sees, hears, smells, and feels.
Our classes introduce simple and practical ideas for creative play, baby massage, tummy time, movement, visual development, textures, scents, and music. These activities can be easily repeated at home, helping parents support learning outside the class.
Baby Sensory uses a unique mix of original and traditional baby songs and rhymes to encourage early speech and language skills. Sensory signing activities help you and your baby communicate from birth, building confidence and connection.

Meet Nic Owen
As soon as I started attending Baby Sensory classes in St Albans with my first son, I completely fell in love with the whole concept and was fascinated to watch how much he thrived and developed from week to week - my only regret is that we did not start sooner! I found I really benefited too from the interaction with other parents who were at a similar stage. I then rejoined when I had my second son, and had a couple of classes in venue before the first lockdown of 2020. Transferring to Baby Sensory@home was seamless, and we were still able to enjoy a fully interactive class from our living room. We managed to get back into venue for some socially distanced classes and then it was time to wave goodbye again as the time had come to return to work. When I heard there was an opportunity to join the team, I knew this was exactly what I wanted to do and jumped at the chance. I love meeting so many lovely families, and watching the babies in class grow and develop over their time with us – whether you join on your own or come with friends, I can’t wait to welcome you and your baby to the magic of Baby Sensory!
