Description

CK Theatre School is one of the most trusted theatre schools in Chorleywood and Gerrards Cross, offering a wide variety of acting and dance classes for young people in the local area.

The disciplines at CK Theatre School are taught in separate classes and levels following the certified system of ISTD and LAMDA examination boards from Primary / Introductory to Grade 8 / Advanced 1 levels.

Classical Ballet - the basis of all dance, essential to gain a high standard of technique, artistry and musicality

Modern Theatre and Tap - two syllabi taught in a combined class as seen in theatre, film or television

Jazz - a dance style which reflects modern music as seen in pop videos and in Musical Theatre

Contemporary - a dance style that develops technique whilst encouraging expressive movement

Solo Drama (LAMDA) - pupils are prepared for individual LAMDA examinations in Acting and Verse & Prose. They also have the opportunity to present their work in the local festival competing for medals and gaining valuable advice from highly qualified adjudicators

Musical Theatre & Glee - these classes combine acting and singing with movement in a fun and creative way, designed to build children's confidence and performance skills
