Theatretrain MINIS is our Saturday performing arts class specially designed for children aged 4–5, taking place from 9–10.30am at Hellesdon High School in Norwich.
Each 90-minute session gives children a fun introduction to acting, singing and dancing through creative activities, games, songs and movement.
No previous experience is needed – MINIS is a friendly and supportive place for younger children to have fun, make friends and discover the performing arts.
Sessions combine singing, dancing, acting, imaginative play and creative games, with activities designed specifically for 4–5-year-olds. Alongside having fun, children develop confidence, creativity, communication, coordination and the ability to work with others
MINIS children have opportunities to work towards performances and share what they have been learning, helping them experience the excitement of performing in a fun and age-appropriate way.
We also run additional performing arts workshops during the school holidays, including October half term, Easter and the summer holidays.

Meet Theatretrain Norwich
Theatretrain MINIS is led by a dedicated teacher who creates a fun, friendly and encouraging environment especially for our youngest students.
Sessions are designed specifically with 4–5-year-olds in mind, giving children plenty of opportunities to use their imagination, express themselves and enjoy acting, singing and dancing while developing their confidence.
Theatretrain Norwich is run by Hayley Roberts, who has an MA from the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama and works closely with the teaching team to provide a welcoming and supportive performing arts experience for every child.
