At New Forest Academy of Dance (NFAD), we offer high-quality dance classes for children in Lymington starting from age 2.5. Whether your child is just taking their first steps into the world of dance or looking to build on existing skills, we provide a welcoming, supportive environment where every dancer can thrive.
Our classes begin with Ballet Tots and Movers (ages 2.5+), a joyful introduction to dance that develops coordination, balance and musicality. From age 4 upwards, children can explore Tap, Modern and Street Dance, combining rhythm, expression and energy in fun, engaging lessons. We also offer Musical Theatre (ages 4+), blending singing, acting and dancing for children who love to perform. For older children (age 8+), Contemporary Dance offers creativity, fluidity and artistry, complementing ballet and modern techniques.
With highly experienced, friendly teachers and a nurturing ethos, NFAD builds confidence, skills and friendships in every class. We welcome new students year-round, beginning with our 4-week trial that allows children to settle in before joining a regular class.
Classes take place at The Lymington Centre, easily accessible for families across Lymington, Pennington and the wider New Forest. Parents consistently praise our professional teaching, supportive atmosphere and the joy their children find in dancing with us.

Regular classes run every day of the week during school term time, with a variety of options for ages 2.5 to 18 during the daytime and afterschool.
We also run themed holiday workshops outside of termtime.
A 4-week trial is available for all new students.

On Monday to Friday (after school): Classes run from around 3.00pm through to 9.00pm, covering Ballet, Tap, Modern, Street, Musical Theatre, and Contemporary for all age groups.
On Thursdays we also have daytime classes for pre-schoolers from 09:30-10:30
