Friendly, beginner-friendly karate classes for children aged 5–14 at Muswell Hill Methodist Church.
Students develop confidence, fitness, discipline and practical self-defence skills in a welcoming and supportive environment while learning authentic Goju-ryu karate. No previous experience is needed, and the first taster class is free.
Classes are termly and fees are paid termly in advance. We are affiliated to Karate England and have the kitemark for safeguarding with Sport England. All instructors are DBS checked, insured, first aid and safeguarding trained. Gradings three times a year, holiday camps, competitions and training with visiting Japanese sensei.

Meet Sheena Amin
Sensei Sheena Amin is the owner and Chief Instructor of Kaishi Karate School and a 3rd Dan black belt. She has trained with leading Western and Japanese instructors in both the UK and Japan.
Sheena is passionate about helping children and adults develop confidence, fitness, discipline and practical skills through traditional Goju-ryu karate. Her classes are friendly, encouraging and welcoming to complete beginners as well as experienced students.
