Jigsaw Performing Arts offers inclusive, structured performing arts classes for children aged 3 to 18, with weekend classes, holiday camps and agency opportunities designed to build confidence, creativity and communication skills for life.
With over 30 years of experience, Jigsaw is more than just a drama school. We provide high quality drama, singing and dance classes in small, age appropriate groups where every child is seen, heard and valued.
Our Little Ones classes for ages 3 to 6 offer a gentle, structured introduction to performing arts, helping children develop independence, listening skills and early confidence in a safe, nurturing environment.
Our Main School classes for ages 7 to 18 balance creativity with structure, supporting resilience, teamwork, leadership skills and emotional wellbeing through the teen years.
At the heart of Jigsaw is our belief that every child deserves a place to belong. We focus on personal growth, communication skills and self expression, not just performance. Our DBS checked teachers follow clear progression pathways, with strong safeguarding, professional standards and child centred teaching behind the fun.
Parents choose Jigsaw because our classes fit real family life. With local venues, clear term dates, trial options and transparent pricing, it is easy to get started. Families see visible progress in confidence, social skills and stage presence, while enjoying a warm, welcoming community that often lasts for years.
Whether your child is shy, full of energy, creative, curious or already passionate about performing, Jigsaw offers a supportive environment where they can grow at their own pace. From first time classes to shows, holiday workshops and agency experiences, we help children take centre stage in their own way.
Jigsaw Arts Dulwich was established in 2016 by mum, musician and educationalist, Donna, wanting more for her young shy 3 year old son at the time. All 3 of her children have been through the school with two of them gaining drama scholarship at top London day schools. Whether your child is a born performer or brand new to the arts, our inclusive sessions are the perfect place to explore and grow.

Meet Donna
Donna is an academic with over 20 years of professional experience. But growing up in a musical household in South Wales, performing arts was in her blood. Alongside her maths and science A levels (and later her maths degree at Oxford University), she regularly performed (often alongside her brother, who now shares his talent with Hollywood!). She knows how valuable the arts are in developing key life skills such as resilience, confidence and self-esteem. She first fell in love with Jigsaw in 2014 when she sent her shy 3 year old boy to Jigsaw Balham and can’t begin to describe the difference it made to his confidence. She was one proud mum when that dreaded first day of primary school came, and he confidently skipped through those school gates (with a hint of the Jigsaw dance he had learned the term before).
Donna opened Jigsaw Dulwich in 2016 (while on maternity leave with her third child) and takes great enjoyment in spreading the power of dance, drama and singing to the future generation, whether their goal is to perform on the West End stage or simply to develop into well-rounded, confident young people, like her three children.
