Meet Katie Purcell
As a Mum, I know just obsessed with trains. 5 years ago, my son had his trains, particularly his favourite “Mike”, in his hand morning, noon and night. He’s absolutely adored them! Roll on a few years and we were joined by our twins, who have also fallen in love with Trains and are regulars at our sessions.
Naturally, we accumulated lots of track sets and trains but we very quickly ran out of space – which I’m sure if a familiar story for many of us. One day, I had an idea to set up loads of track in a hall that I had access too, and the joy on my little boys face seeing all his play-sets and trains set up at the same time was magical! That evening, I realised that my little one was very lucky that I had access to that space and I wanted to share that opportunity with more children and their parents.
So I thought about launching Train Time Play Time – a space for children to play with lots of different sets and trains in a larger space; where there is no limit on the amount of fun they can have and for their imaginations to chuff away…
Its also a great way to get our children playing with other children – through a mutual fondness of trains. Its a place where they can be themselves and explore – and I’m so excited to see their faces when they arrive.
So we warmly invite you to step aboard the Train Time Play Time train and join us on our adventure! We can’t wait to meet you!
