Dedicated to helping children learn and discover new aspects of culture, the Cine Lumiere part of the Institut francais offers years-round screenings, activities and resources for kids, families and schools, in addition to its annual festival dedicated to children’s literature, the South Ken Kids Festival.
The Ciné Kids are family screenings run every week to enjoy French and European cinema with English subtitles in a safe and beautiful listed building. Screenings are often followed by workshops, activities and events which make the experience memorable for the whole family.
We offer screenings on site and online so our offer can reach audiences not only in London but all over the UK.
Every last Sunday of the month our Relaxed Screenings are adapted in a variety of ways to help reduce anxiety and over-stimulation and ensure a safe, enjoyable cinema experience for people with autism.
