Our fun, structured play sessions take children on a journey of sporting imagination with engaging, energetic coaches supporting them every step of the way whilst teaching how to catch, pass, kick, run with the ball & play as part of a team. Be prepared to run across the jungle, wade through the quick sand or sprint through Rugbytots Valley avoiding all the smoking boulders.

Meet Peter Barnett
Hi, I purchased Rugbytots Liverpool in July 2024 and it has been a great first year. I am a trained primary school teacher, with over 30 years experience. I am a passionate believer in children learning through play, my own daughters attend rugbytots and love the playing with their friends, as well as learning how to throw, catch, roll, kick a rugby ball, as well as the many fun games that they, especially our regular welcome games and end of session fun games. The parents often mention how they notice that there was something new introduced each week or that I taught them a skill through a fun game or in a different way to before.
As well as being the owner of Rugbytots Liverpool , I am qualified Level 2 Rugby coach, an RFU qualified first aider and paediatric first aid, a society rugby union referee, and just crazy about all aspects of rugby. I have had some great experiences through playing since 10 years of age all the way through school, university, a number of clubs and even now the odd veterans game, I've had the pleasure of volunteering for 2 fantastic rugby charities - Friends of Rwanda Rugby, leading to 2 life-changing trips to Rwanda to coach primary age and secondary children , train Rwandan rugby coaches & referees; also The School of Hard Knocks, run by my old Uni and club team mate Ken Cowan, leading to me refereeing twice on TV.
I love my job - delivering Rugbytots in a cross section of private and school based nurseries, primary schools in curriculum time and after school clubs - I often say to other coaches " this isn't work...this is fun!".
