In our classes, we focus on Acting for Stage and Screen, as well as Musical Theatre and Dance. Diverse also offers lessons working towards LAMDA (London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art) Examinations.
Our teachers encourage all of our pupils to maximise their potential in an enjoyable and encouraging environment.

Meet Carrie Whitton
Carrie is the Principal at Diverse in Liverpool. Carrie works as an Actor and Director alongside running Diverse Liverpool, she has directed various professional productions in London including 'Bouncers' at the Leicester Square Theatre among a wide range of musicals and plays with her students such as 'Legally Blonde: The Musical', 'Alice in Wonderland', 'The Addams Family Musical' and many more.
As an actor, Carrie played Twinkle in the sell-out Number 1 UK Tour of 'Dinnerladies' by Victoria Wood, appeared alongside Sheridan Smith in the Feature Film ‘Powder Room’. She recently starred in 'Lightships' due to come out later this year for AppleTV. Carrie has also appeared on 'Coronation Street' as well as doing much voice work for BBC One's 'Moving On', CBBC'S 'Get Even' and 5Star's 'Clink'.
Her Theatre productions include; Secret Cinema’s ‘Back to the Future’, 'The Acid Test' at Pleasance Theatre, 'The Musketeers' at the Liverpool Echo Arena, the Olivier nominated 'Alice's Adventures Underground'.
And as a dancer, Carrie was apart of the award-winning all-female swing dance troupe 'The Dinahs', in which she has performed all around Europe for the past 3 years. The girls have won two years running at the prestigious Savoy Cup in Le Grande-Motte, France as well as winning at the Balkan Lindy Hop Championships in Plovdiv, Bulgaria.
Carrie teaches stage 1 - 3 Acting for Stage and Screen, Musical Theatre and also Thursday evenings for LAMDA Drama examinations.
