Jo Jingles has been running since 1991 and is one of the UK's largest providers of fun and interactive pre-school music, singing and movement classes – for babies and children from 3 months to 5 years!
A happy little fellow dressed in red and yellow, Jo Jingles, our cheery mascot doll, loves to wave, clap and stamp his feet…. but most of all he loves to meet babies and young children to share the fun!
Delivered by specially trained and experienced class teachers, our themed sessions are educational with musical instruments for each child and lots of props including parachute, lycra, puppets, bubbles and more!
By introducing your child to the fun world of music at an early age you will help them:
- Build routine and structure
- Improve language and speech
- Stimulate imagination
- Build social skills and make friends
- Find and feel rhythm to move and dance
- Improve balance and coordination
Come and join in the fun! Classes are age specific and run for 30 - 45 minutes during term time.
But the learning experience goes further than that!
- Every child will get some hands-on fun with at least two percussion instruments each week including for example: Tambourines, Drums, Bells and Shakers.
Watch as they join in with Little Jo who brings special surprises in his bag each week and is always ready to move to the music with fun actions – and with over 1,000 songs under his belt, from old favourites to the more unique, you can rest assured every class is different from one week to the next!

Jingle Toddlers - walking to 2 years
Jingle Juniors - 3 - 5 years
Music Time - 5 - 7 years
Family Time - Weekend / Mixed age group sessions

Meet Karen Garner
Hello, I'm Karen and I run the Jo Jingles franchise in North Herts taking the classes in Letchworth and Fairfield Park.
Prior to having my family, I worked in the dealing room of a large global bank in the City but always made music in my spare time. After a career break and my children starting school, I worked as a Jo Jingles class teacher for 3 years before I took over the franchise from the retiring owner. I have such fun at classes and the rewards from teaching all these children are priceless. Do I miss the City ?......absolutely not !
When I'm not "jingling", I am married to Nigel and have my own VERY grown up children, Olly & Sophie
I have always enjoyed playing my piano & clarinet (though a bit rusty on the clarinet these days!) Music plays a large part in our house and Jo Jingles fits perfectly!
