Join us at The Performers Place for exciting, confidence-building Musical Theatre classes for all ages and abilities. Students will develop their skills in singing, dancing and acting, while learning how to perform with energy, expression and confidence.

Meet Amy — the Heart Behind The Performer’s Place
If you haven’t met Amy yet, she’s the powerhouse Owner and Director of The Performer’s Place. Her journey into the world of performing arts began with Busta Groove, a lively after-school street dance club that quickly sparked something bigger. By 2022, she launched Groove Box Academy of Performing Arts — and in just two years, it had grown into a vibrant school offering classes six days a week across two buzzing locations.
In 2024, Amy brought her vision full circle by uniting everything under one inspiring name: The Performer’s Place — a dynamic home for performers of all ages to grow, shine, and thrive.
Amy’s training includes top UK institutions like Italia Conti, Mountview, and PPA, and her professional credits span shows like Bat Out of Hell, Closer to Heaven, and Get It On. With this rich industry experience, Amy pours passion and expertise into every aspect of the school.
Backing Amy is a handpicked team of talented, dedicated professionals who share her mission: to make every class feel fresh, exciting, and full of opportunity. Together, they’re all about building creativity, confidence, and joy — one performer at a time.
