Caterpillar Music sessions offer a unique introduction to music and movement for babies & young children. Our weekly themes, action songs, puppets, instruments and sensory props stimulate your child's senses as they develop their language, music, social and motor skills.
Each class follows a clear structure, which becomes familiar to the little ones. The anticipation of what is coming next helps their confidence develop. Our focus is on fun, our classes are relaxed and interactive and we understand that children develop at different paces and that is fine. Some join in straight away while others observe in wonder until they are ready. Our Class Leaders hope to encourage, inspire, teach, amuse and amaze your little ones.

Meet Helen Simmons
Hi, I'm Helen. wife, mum to 3 fabulous boys (and a girl dog), and aI have been proudly running Caterpillar Music Business classes since 2006.
I create a safe space for your little ones to explore the exciting props, puppets and instruments.I absolutely love getting to know their personalities, celebrating their milestones with you, as we make wonderful memories and watch them grow and develop every single week.
When a little one masters skills, such as waving, clapping along, using counting fingers, tidying up, taking turns or dancing up at the front with me, it fills me with absolute joy.
Each child learns at their own pace and I gently coax them to join in and engage with all the fun and actions when they are ready.
