Welcoming karate classes for children aged 4-9 at St Lawrence Church Hall, St Lawrence Close, Edgware. Beginners learn at their own pace while more experienced students continue to progress.
Through traditional Goju-ryu karate, children improve confidence, fitness, focus, discipline and practical self-defence skills. The class is friendly and supportive, and the first taster class is free.
Children can work towards recognised gradings, enter competitions and join holiday camps, workshops and sprecial training with visiting Japanese sensei.

Classes take place during school terms. Instructors are DBS checked, insured and trained in first aid and safeguarding. Kaishi Karate School is affiliated to Karate England and has attained the Safeguarding Code in Martial Arts.

Meet Sheena Amin
Sensei Sheena Amin is the owner and Chief Instructor of Kaishi Karate School and a 3rd Dan black belt. She has trained with leading Western and Japanese instructors in both the UK and Japan.
Sheena is passionate about helping children and adults develop confidence, fitness, discipline and practical skills through traditional Goju-ryu karate. Her classes are friendly, encouraging and welcoming to complete beginners as well as experienced students.
