Meet Ms Helen Ford
I love working with children and cooking. I have spent the last 10 years raising my children and teaching them how to cook - with many laughs along the way. I think cooking is a huge life skill and it’s why I think Cook Stars is perfect for me.
I studied childcare back in college and did a nutrition course alongside. It ignited my passion for food and cooking new things in the kitchen.
I know that many children don’t have the opportunity to cook at home and it's not always an easy thing to do! Let me take away all that stress and do all the cleaning up in a dedicated space giving essential skills to children.
My other passion is travel. On my last trip I took my children to Thailand and we tried a Thai cooking class, the food was incredible. My favourite was some tasty crepes from a street vendor with fresh mango.
I am so excited to be able to teach these great life skills to the children in my class whilst also creating memories with them too!
