Basking Babies offers pregnancy relaxation, sharing & support circles, baby massage, baby reflexology, and baby yoga classes, as well as events across the UK.
Relax with Bump pregnancy relaxation classes allow you to meet local mums and learn some incredible tools and techniques to help you relax and prepare for your little one’s arrival.
Our sharing & support circles offer the opportunity to build your village of support. They are a place to be heard and to share thoughts, feelings and experiences with no judgement – just pure support.
Nurture Me baby massage & baby reflexology is suitable for babies from birth to active crawling. Progressively throughout the course you will learn a comprehensive baby massage routine designed to soothe & relax you and your baby. You will also learn our effective ‘Colic Alleviation & Prevention’ baby massage routine, settling techniques, and our specially designed baby reflexology routines for additional techniques to ease and relieve normal baby discomforts.
Move with Me baby yoga encourages playful interaction and communication between parent and baby and promotes healthy development. No prior yoga experience is needed. Classes are available from 3 months right up to pre-school.

At Basking Babies Maidstone, we believe baby classes should support both baby and parent. Our sessions are calm, welcoming and designed to give you time to connect with your baby while also building friendships with other local parents.
💛 Longer, relaxed sessions – We intentionally run longer classes so there’s time to enjoy a hot drink, a small treat and a chat with other parents. It’s a chance to share the highs and lows of parenthood, swap recommendations and feel supported.
👶 Baby-led environment – Babies cry, feed and need cuddles – and that’s completely normal in our classes. Everything we do is gentle, flexible and led by your baby’s needs.
🤍 Supportive parent community – We’re passionate about helping parents feel less alone during the early months. Many families who join our classes build lasting friendships and supportive networks.
☕ Community events – In addition to classes, we organise coffee mornings and occasional parent-and-baby events so you can continue building your local “mummy village”.
👩👶 Small class sizes – This helps keep the atmosphere calm, supportive and personal for everyone attending.
🎶 Calm learning – Sessions include baby massage or gentle yoga-inspired movements, songs and bonding activities that support your baby’s development.
Classes are suitable for babies from newborn up to around 12 months.
Spaces are limited to keep the sessions relaxed and personal, so early booking is recommended. Hot drinks, snacks and course materials are included in the course price.

Meet Gemma
Hi, I’m Gemma, the owner and instructor of Basking Babies Maidstone.
I’m a mum myself, and I know first-hand how wonderful, overwhelming and sometimes lonely those early months with a new baby can feel. That’s one of the reasons I’m so passionate about creating classes that support both babies and their parents.
I started teaching baby massage and baby yoga because I truly believe in the power of gentle touch, bonding and slowing down to enjoy those special moments with your baby. Seeing babies relax, parents grow in confidence and friendships form between families is incredibly rewarding.
Basking Babies classes are designed to be calm, welcoming and completely baby-led, with plenty of time to chat, share experiences and enjoy a hot drink together. I love helping parents connect so they can build their own local “mummy village” and feel supported throughout their parenting journey.
Creating a friendly community where parents feel comfortable sharing the highs, lows and little wins of parenthood is at the heart of everything I do.
I’d love to welcome you and your little one to one of my classes. 💛
