We obviously can't help you directly with this but we can help you with reaching parents to show them how you are making all the expected changes to keep them and their children safe AND ensuring parents know many benefits of attending your classes is still there.
Coming together as the children's activities sector is more important than ever to ensure that parents trust and confidence in our sector is as high as it should be.
This helps all of us get back on track.
So we've created a brilliant package of promotion this autumn which is totally FREE for all our fully subscribed Grow4th Programme Members during September plus a few optional extras if you want a bit more.
Parents will want to know that you are following the CAA Guidelines at a minimum and applying them to your programme and settings . This is important so that parents know you are following independent and sector-wide recommendations.
Your teachers may also be attending internal and external training. What is this training? Why are you doing it? And who is delivering this training?
Show parents what the new safety measure are with photos, video and blogs on your website, social media and by email. If you are running any pilots then ensure you capture imagery from these and quotes from parents in the pilots.
Also consider continuing to run online classes in parallel so parents that remain 'unsure' can continue.
Don't forget the basics here. Remind parents of all the good stuff about what you do. Are you a CAA member? Are you CAA Accredited? What other memberships and independent accreditations do you have? What are the qualifications and experience of the people that have created your programme? What will your programme give their children? What awards have you won?
Now look at what will change because of the adaptations you have to make and demonstrate how the benefits of your programme will still be achieved. Address any worries such as the changes around props, interactions, class change over times. There might well be some extra benefits that come with changes like smaller classes and extra online resources.
With potential smaller class sizes parents may not come to your classes because you don't have the capacity. This may only be a temporary situation as you find ways to run more classes but don't just let these parents go elsewhere. How will you keep them as customers until you have capacity for them?
A good waiting list system is vital to manage demand above your new capacity.
Package up a wait list offering that includes online classes, other digital resources and a starter kit by post.
And keep in touch with your wait list customers very regularly.

We will be promoting the CAA Guidelines alongside the relevant results of the CAA Parents' Survey to build confidence in the children's activities sector. This will include our own parents' checklist based on the CAA Guidelines so parents can easy ensure that any activity or class they go to has all the recommended measures in place.
Your story along with other children's activities and parent stories will also help ensure more parents are confident to return in-class.
Promote your brand nationwide with an eye-catching video ad in our main search.
A really simple but highly effective way to get your brand across the whole of the UK supporting your local listings AND getting your name where you don't yet have franchisees.

Like our weekly showcase events of online classes that have been running through lockdown this is your chance to showcase your actual classes.

These Back 'In' Class Showcase Events will be running regularly through the autumn using prerecorded videos.
