Q. Do I need to advertise on What's On 4 Kids to enter the awards?

No, you don't but you do need to set up an account as the awards nominations and registrations are managed here.  And remember you can list one activity/class for free on What's On 4 Kids for a month so why not do this!

Q. Can I enter more than one award category?

Yes, as long as you are eligible for an award category you can enter as many categories as you wish.

Q. Is there a fee to enter the awards?

We introduced a small admin fee to ensure the continuation of the awards.  The early bird rate of £24+VAT or £59+VAT, depending on the award category, is available until 31st January 2024.  The price will then increase to £27+VAT or £64+VAT, depending on the award category.  And our community awards can be entered for free.  

Q. Oops, I've registered for the wrong awards category, can I change this?

Yes, please contact us and we'll switch you over.

Q.  I'm not sure which region I should enter in the Activity Leader/Business Manager category.

Q.  What is the hashtag for the awards?

Q. The number of activity leaders I have has changed, when should I count them from?

Please use the number of activity leaders active as at 1st January 2024 to determine the award category you should enter.

AND please note that the number of leaders is nationwide, not in a franchise territory.  If you are part of a franchise please contact your franchise head office to decide which leader category is right for you and it may be that the head office enter on behalf of the whole network.

Q. My programme covers several  different types of activity, which category should I enter?

Please see the notes on the awards category for guidance but pick the predominant type of activity.  If you're not sure please contact us.

Q. What information do you need for the judged award categories and when will you need it?

If you have entered a judged awards category we will be in touch with you once voting has opened to ask for further information needed for the judging.

Yes, it's a fabulous event and a great networking opportunity plus all finalists receive a certificate so it's definitely worth it.  If there are unforeseen circumstances then you can nominate someone to represent you as long as this is before the guest list is finalised.
