Meet Matilda Hopkins
Hi, i’m Matilda! I am the company director for Theatretrain High Wycombe!
I have been in the professional musical theatre industry since I was 7 years old starring in west end shows such as, Les Miserables, Annie, The Sound of Music, Fiddler on the Roof & Adrian Mole. I have always had an immense passion for performing arts after my training at Emil Dale Academy I realised I wanted to share my knowledge to the younger generation of aspiring performers. I thrive to create a fun, knowledgeable and judgement free space with every class.
Growing up, musical theatre become my escape from outside worries it helped grow my confidence, make lifelong friends & taught me many lessons that I continue to take into my adult life.
My whole childhood revolved around musical theatre and has made me the person I am today, I know first hand how important these classes can become for our students and it has been a privilege to welcome every student that has come through our doors.
