At babyballet, we make learning to dance an unforgettable and magical experience – for you and your little star. From six months to six years, our babyballet classes will give your child the chance to dance, gain confidence and shine, in a fun, caring and supportive environment.
At babyballet, we offer four stages of ballet dance classes, for young children aged 6 months to 6 years, plus a tap dancing class for children over 3 years.
Our classes are a great way for parents and carers to meet up and make new friends too!
James West Community Centre (BN27 3FY) has a large free car park available for hall users.
We recommend arriving about 5 minutes before your class time, to allow for getting set up and ready to dance. Little stars need to be wearing ballet shoes or bare feet (no slippery socks please!) and make sure to bring a bottle of water, but no food in class. We have a 1:1 ratio in all of our classes, with only 1 adult attending per child, and no photos whilst the class is running.
Uniform isn't essential, but we have a wide selection available to purchase both in class and online.

You can sign up at any time for a 3 week trial for just £20. After this, payments are taken in advance of each term, and are £7.50 per class.

Meet Miss Natalie
My name is Miss Natalie, and I'm the franchisee for babyballet® Hailsham, Eastbourne, Polegate, Seaford & Lewes, and Uckfield and Heathfield. I have been running classes in the area since 2022, alongside my fabulous team of teachers - and I have been a babyballet® teacher myself for over 10 years!
With a Diploma in Dance Studies, plus teaching qualifications in ballet and tap dance, I have been lucky enough to perform and choreograph for various entertainment teams, both in the UK and abroad - but my absolute passion is teaching, and I love introducing little stars to the wonderful world of dance on a daily basis.
I'm also a mum to my own little star, and spend all of my free time making magical memories with her!
I can't wait to dance with you soon!
