What makes Baby Sensory unique is that every activity has been carefully designed to stimulate your baby's senses and move development and learning forwards.
And behind every Baby Sensory session, there's an incredibly detailed lesson plan backing up everything your baby touches, sees, hears, smells and feels
Baby Sensory provides ideas for creative play, massage, tummy time, movement, visual development, textures, scents and music in simple practical ways that can be easily repeated at home. We also use a combination of original and traditional songs and rhymes to develop early speech and language skills, and sensory signing activities to help you and your baby communicate from birth.

Our classes run every week during term time. We have classes on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays at different venues near Blackburn.
Newborn to 1 years
Our classes are typically booked on a termly basis, as they can become full quite quickly. Our terms are usually between 5-7 weeks and cost £8.50 a session.

Meet Laura Dixon
Hi, I'm Laura! I am the Franchisee for Baby Sensory Blackburn! We are relaunching across Blackburn and Hyndburn from 10th March 2025! Baby Sensory Blackburn has been a hugely successful baby class and is returning after a short break. I am super excited to be bringing this award-winning and original baby sensory programme back!
I graduated with a First Class Honours degree in Drama and am a qualified Drama Teacher. I have recently stepped away from teaching after 15 years to make more time for my 2 year old daughter and family life. I have joined the Baby Sensory family as I loved attending classes with my daughter and it is my dream job to perform and entertain babies every day! I love the Baby Sensory programme as each week is so unique and all of the props and activities follow really amazing themes. I have seen first-hand the benefit that sensory time has on babies early development and I'm excited to be a small part of that amazing journey!
