Learn how to sign with your baby the fun way with Sing and Sign!
One of the best gifts you can give your baby is the power to communicate before they can speak 🥰.
During our classes, signing is introduced through music, instruments and props. Both you and your baby will have fun while you learn! You'll hear a combination of classic nursery rhymes, as well as Sing and Sign original songs, which have been written specifically for this course.
The songs that we sing involve a large number of signs and you'll pick these up as the weeks go on. You'll be surprised how quickly you begin to remember the signs!
Each week we'll concentrate on a handful of specific signs around a particular activity or subject that your baby can relate to.
The in-person course comes with membership for 1 year to the Jessie Cat Club, providing you with tools and info to continue your Sing and Sign experience outside your classes!
Sing and Sign's award winning programme was developed with speech and language therapists, specifically to encourage babies and toddlers to communicate with their families. Our signs are used to support the development of language and early communication through gestures.

Backed by research, and developed with speech & language therapists, Sing and Sign helps you connect with your baby on so many levels ⭐️.
It’s more than just a fun class, it’s something that stays with you. 💞
What does the research say?…..
⭐️ Signing improves children’s ability to learn & remember new words (Kirk et al, 2013).
⭐️ Signing babies display more advanced mental skills and are better at self-regulating their behaviour (Vallotton, 2011, 2012).
⭐️ Signing reduces frustration and tantrums by providing an alternative means of expression (Mueller & Sepulveda, 2014 & Acredolo & Goodwyn, 2000).
⭐️ Signing babies show more advanced social skills and are more likely to initiate social interactions (Tory, 2009).
⭐️ Baby signers show more positive emotional interactions and synchrony with their caregivers (Gingers & Farkas, 2009).
🩷 Sing and Sign is WAY more than just a baby class 🩷

Meet Sarah Dymott
Hello, I’m Sarah and I run Sing and Sign classes in your local area. I can't wait to begin your baby signing journey together! There's nothing like that magical feeling of seeing your baby sign for the first time!
Baby signing was the best thing that I did with my own children and it's something I feel so passionately about.
At these classes you'll learn signs the fun way... Through music and songs :) It's a relaxed, supportive and friendly environment with no need for prior experience or singing ability!
Baby signing enables your baby to communicate before they've found their voice. They can understand so much at a young age, and signing gives them the ability to express what they want and to be understood by you!
I found it such an incredible experience with my own children and absolutely love being able to help other families on this journey.
Once they can, they'll be able to ask for milk, a nappy change and even tell you what they've spotted on a walk (my daughters were always particularly keen to sign 'bird', 'dog' and 'flowers').
Baby signing is great for communication development, bonding and reducing frustration.
