RUGGERBUGS is a fun, active and engaging children's development programme inspired by non-contact rugby, designed for little ones from confident walking through to around 6 years.

Through colourful equipment, imaginative games and age-appropriate activities, children run, jump, catch, throw, kick and score while developing important physical skills such as balance, coordination, agility and body awareness.

But RUGGERBUGS is about much more than learning rugby skills.

Week by week, we gently encourage important Skills4Life including confidence, independence, listening, communication, taking turns, decision-making and teamwork.

Younger children take part alongside their grown-up, while as children grow and progress through RUGGERBUGS they are gradually encouraged to become more independent and confident within the group.

There is no pressure, no competition and no previous rugby experience needed. Every child develops differently, so our friendly coaches encourage them to take part at their own pace, celebrate what they can do and, most importantly, have lots of FUN.

Whether your child eventually chooses rugby, another sport or simply develops a love of being active, our aim is to give them a positive start that they can carry with them.

Established in 2007, RUGGERBUGS has been helping little ones get active, develop new skills and grow in confidence for nearly 20 years.
