Discover how to give your child the ultimate skills-building experience with Stagecoach Performing Arts. With more than 35 years’ experience in teaching singing, acting and dancing to children and young people, Stagecoach is trusted by parents across the world to build their children’s confidence.
Whilst many current and former students have gone on to star in the West End or silver screen, Stagecoach classes are first and foremost about something even more magical. Through the power of the arts, students are encouraged to develop key skills such as confidence, resilience, creativity and empathy. Without even realising it, students find the mettle to stand up on stage, volunteer in class or make a new friend all through the unique Stagecoach experience. This skills development is what Stagecoach calls Creative Courage for Life.Â
All students are also given the opportunity to perform
regularly for family and friends so you can see them in the spotlight!
Many students also take their performing arts experience beyond the
classroom with opportunities to perform on some of the UK’s most
renowned stages, and even in destinations such as Disneyland® Paris!Â
There are classes for all ages with the following available in all Stagecoach schools:
•  Early Stages for ages 4-6. These 90-minute classes allow children to explore their imaginations through fun and engaging songs, dances and stories. •  Main Stages for ages 6-18 (split up into three age-appropriate classes). Explore the performing arts in three-hour weekly classes with an hour on each discipline of singing, dancing and acting, plus a refreshment break. Using Stagecoach’s Educational Framework, students achieve steady progress in both building core life skills and learning to be a performer.
Select schools also offer:
•  Mini Stages for ages 2-4 (parent/carer-accompanied). Perfect for those thinking of embarking on a career in the arts, or for those looking for a new challenge, Further Stages students work as their very own theatre troupe.  •  Adult Classes.
