We are passionate about science and we aim to inspire a new generation to be curious through our interactive classes.

Our theme tune’s opening line is ‘Science is all around us’, this reflects the ethos of the classes and encourages the children to think about and to explore the world around them.

Children have a thirst for knowledge and can understand scientific principles explained in simple terms with fun experiments in which they can touch, see and hear to help them understand.  Children love repetition, so every class begins with our Mini Professors ‘Welcome Song’, followed by an introduction to the topic for that class using props, pictures and books.

We encourage all children and adults to join in with the experiments to learn together. Each week there is a chance to listen to a story with your Professor, the children love this chance to engage and think about the science they have learnt that day. The children can also wear a mini lab coat if they would like to, so they can be involved in the whole experience.

The benefits of Mini Professors classes:
•    Preparation for school - We actively encourage turn taking, socialising, sharing and answering questions
•    Each Mini Professors session lasts 40 minutes and follows a set format so the children know what to expect next.
•    We encourage the adults to join in so that they can carry on the learning experience at home with their children. We have lots of ideas for this on our blog

For the last few months we have continued to provide our parents with @Home online sessions which will be continuing in some areas along with our face to face classes as we return to venues across the country. It will be the Toddler Sense you love and remember with a few changes to keep you all safe.
