Junior Workshop, Age 6-12

Delivered every Saturday morning on Zoom, this exciting new workshop looks at prop making for theatre. Whether you are building a rocket to the moon, a robot helmet, or a crown fit for a queen. This workshop will engage and challenge the most creative young minds!

A brand new workshop theme will be released each week! Why not book into the four workshop bundle for only £28?

This workshop requires no particular making skills.

I am a set and costume designer and have lots of experience creating work for both Theatre and Dance, as well as many years of experience teaching and leading workshops for various institutions. Notable clients include The Brit School, Chichester Festival Theatre and the V&A.

These 1 hour workshops take place on Zoom live from my design studio using a professional 2 camera set-up for the best interactive experience. Upon receipt of payment you will receive an email with details about the workshops and also a zoom log-in for the session you have booked.

Ryan Dawson Laight

Meet Ryan Dawson Laight

Ryan is a designer for performance, specializing in set and costume, with credits that span theatre, opera, cabaret and dance. Having studied Design at the University of Brighton he has gone on to work both nationally and internationally. Ryan works with clients from initial design concept, through to final production, and his style is born out of the unique collaborations that occur on each project. He is an Associate Designer for Creation Theatre and an Associate Lecturer in Theatre Design at the University of Chichester.
