Meet Shelley Kendall
Hello! I’m Shelley, your local Nature Makers® Activity Provider for Droitwich & Worcester.
I live in the beautiful Worcestershire countryside with my husband Richard, our young son Oscar Anthony, our beloved spaniel 'Pip' and a very naughty rabbit called 'Baffers'. I am a fully qualified teacher who has worked in Education for over a decade and a half; I have an Art & Design qualification and am a lifelong Art scholar, finding inspiration in the natural world. After the (long-awaited) birth of our son I made a conscious decision to slow down and spend more time doing the things that I love, which just so happen to be creating art inspired by wildlife and nature.
As a family we are passionate about responsibly sourced food and minimising our use of packaging and waste - something that has even inspired me to start tea bag painting, as well as numerous upcycling projects at home. I am a big believer that each individual has the power to make subtle changes that can have a considerable impact on the Environment and sustaining our planet. It has never been more vital for young people to connect in meaningful ways with the world around them and I am proud to be part of the Nature Makers family making this happen...if you and your child share in our passion for all things art and nature then please come and join us!
