Water confidence builds life confidence. That’s why introducing your little one to the water is one of the best starts you can give them in life.
Our leading swim programme has been developed to build water confidence and skills throughout your little one’s first five years. We work closely with Swim England, the national governing body for swimming, and we’ve woven their learn to swim framework through our programme. You’ll love nothing more than seeing their progression as your little one moves from fun floating, kicking and splashing to swimming independently.
And not only will your little one develop key aquatic skills, but we’ll also give them the knowledge to keep themselves safe. By the end of their journey, your child will be able to independently swim to the side and climb out to safety, wherever they are.
You can be safe in the knowledge that you’re learning from the best. Our teachers are the only ones who can hold Swim England’s Level 3 qualification, the highest that can be achieved. And they’re the most passionate around, there to guide you at every stroke of your little one’s journey. Because the more confident they are in the water, the more confident they’ll be out of it too. All the things that we teach in the water are structured to support their development; physically, intellectually and emotionally.
Focused time in the water also strengthens the bond between you and your baby, through that skin-to-skin contact in the comforting warmth of the water. It’s the perfect place to connect, away from the craziness of daily life.
So what are you waiting for? When they’re ready, we’re ready.

Meet Water Babies Oxford
“Baby swimming with Water Babies is an exciting, enriching experience for both you and your little one. Not only does it teach vital life skills, but it also enhances the way babies and toddlers learn other skills, too. No one else reaches our high standards of professionalism, and no one else works harder to make sure you and your little one feel happy and safe. And we always incorporate lots of bonding, fun and socialising, so you can be sure that a Water Baby is a happy baby!
Classes across Oxfordshire are run by Saz Sunthareswaran, who met her husband, vascular surgeon Rame, when they crossed paths at work; she was the resident physio on Ward 17, and they got together at a hospital ball shortly afterwards.
Having spent 8 years as a physiotherapist specialising in orthopaedics, it's no surprise that Saz was keen to start swimming with her daughter, Sophia, as soon as she could. So impressed was she that after her first lesson she came straight home and looked into training as a Water Babies teacher, little imagining that within the year she'd have fully qualified and bought the local business, too!
Saz has since added three more daughters to the family - Alisha, Jasmine and Amber. Thankfully she also has a bit of help these days, with the wonderfully enthusiastic Elizabeth, Jordan and Lucy who are the friendly voices in the office, while a team of highly qualified teachers - Nat, Sharon, Toni, Tasha, Holly, Nikki, Kelly and Rachel - completes the Water Babies crew.”
We look forward to hearing from you.
