Meet Jo Bartlett

Hello 👋🏼 I’m Jo Bartlett, owner of The Mini Movers. I live in Warwick with my husband, Liam and two daughters, Penny and Rosie!
I grew up in Leamington and have lived in Warwick ever since. My passion and love of sport started from a young age. I was one of those children off doing a different activity every night of the week and I loved it. That love and passion remains with me and at any opportunity I will be off to play netball or go to a dance class. It has also stayed with me for the past 13 years as a primary school teacher, specialising in PE. I loved watching the children in my school learn a new skill or develop one they already had but the best bit was always seeing the joy on their face when they succeeded. The staff vs pupil matches were also a fun highlight! I loved my job as a teacher but I also wanted a job that would allow me to be around more for my girls.
After taking my daughters to many wonderful activity classes across the area, I knew I could combine my love of sport and teaching into a perfect class for young children. My eldest daughter, Penny, had also shown a love for a multi skills class but it was directed at one sport. I knew she would love trying other sports too but I realised that I couldn’t show her what was on offer without spending a lot of time and money taking her to many different classes!
So The Mini Movers was created to enable parents/carers to help their children engage in a range of sports at a young age so they develop their physical literacy, grow a love of sport and enjoy being active before choosing their favourite to focus on in the future! And of course, The Mini Movers classes are full of fun and laughter too!
I can’t wait to welcome you.
❤️🧡💛💚💙💜
