Hands on, fun cooking for toddlers and up! Children can make, bake and then take home all their goodies to share with the family. In the class children will make a range of savoury dishes, tasting foods and learning great hand eye co-ordination and developing their fine motor skills with mixing, kneading, rolling, cutting, chopping, tearing, whisking, pouring as well as learning colours, shapes and numbers in the Bun kitchen. At the end of the term we celebrate by making a sweet treat and have certificates and goodies to take home for their foodtastic work. Classes are also available in the holidays if you cannot make weekly ones, and those that have started school can join the ‘Saturday Kitchen’ to continue their love of cooking. All activities are designed for a 2-5 year old, so no child uses the hob or oven, and they have great fun learning new skills and trying foods they may not have done and celebrating food festivals such as Chinese new year, St Patricks and Davids day, Easter and of course Christmas. Mrs Bun the Baker brings a helping of fun to the kitchen whilst making tasty, healthy foods that all the family can enjoy.
Mrs Bun the Baker was previously a food technology teacher for nearly 20 years and has a degree in catering. She also hosts great parties for Birthdays, Hens, Baby showers and more! She recently won the Baca award for Best New Business too.
