Toddler Sense is a 2 year activity programme designed for children from 13 months to 5 years old, offering them a magical, multi-adventure experience with activities to keep them busy, active and stimulated.
The sessions are created to promote a positive attitude to exercise, to develop imagination and creativity, to promote social and emotional development and to develop an understanding of the world in a fun and energetic way.
Activities might include bubbles, scarves, light shows, dance ribbons, instruments, balls, parachutes, small world equipment, balloons puppet shows and so much more.
Every week is different and creates a new story within the session. Sessions could see you climbing a snowy mountain, dancing at the ‘Ugly Bug Ball’, Catching Rainbows, digging for dinosaur fossils or even bringing along your teddy to our Teddy Bear’s picnic. There are also seasonal themed sessions such as Fireworks, Spooky Wooky, Christmas Fun, Easter, Chinese New Year, Mother’s Day and Father’s Day too.
Sessions are 55 mins for the younger children and an hour for the older ones and each begins with 30 mins of exploratory play on inflatables and soft play, in ball pools, on ride on toys, with small world toys, balancing beams, trestles and ladders. This is followed by adult led activities set to a repertoire of upbeat classical and cultural music as well as jazz, rock, rhythmic sounds and dance from different cultures.
