I began my journey with an ambition to study Human Biology at Manchester Metropolitan and work in a laboratory, my experience working in a lab as a scientist was absolutely amazing specially the different experiments we were undergoing each week. Later, I moved to Bradford and began working in a Nursery as a finance officer and with the hours suiting around my new baby, one little girl later turned to 2 girls and 1 boy who are all still very small and all annoyingly amazing in their own ways. My time at the nursery allowed me to understand children and with my children also attending the nursery it gave me a love for the job the practitioners were doing, I did plan on going back into the laboratory, however this new experience led me to a different path, I began a new journey, back into the world of studies but now studying BA Child and Family at University of Leeds. Fun Science allows me to combine my love for Science and my love for Teaching into one and with my children being my greatest inspiration it allows me to spread the joys of science and making discoveries with mini scientist all over!
