At babyballet, we make learning to dance an unforgettable and magical experience – for you and your little star. From six months to six years, our babyballet classes will give your child the chance to dance, gain confidence and shine, in a fun, caring and supportive environment.
At babyballet, we offer four stages of ballet dance classes, for young children aged 6 months to 6 years, plus a tap dancing class for children over 3 years.
Our classes are a great way for parents and carers to meet up and make new friends too!
By learning through play, our qualified and welcoming teachers give babies, tots, toddlers, pre-schoolers and young children the chance to dance in their own unique way, having fun and making friends along the way. For your added reassurance, all our ballet lessons are linked to the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework (EYFSF), making them the perfect activity choice for you and your child.
From 6 months the class is a very gentle introduction to the class environment. As the syllabus progresses the children in Tinies (18 months to 3 years) are encouraged to develop their movement and communication skills on their own but still with their grown-up close by. The basics of ballet are introduced through bespoke babyballet® songs, classic nursery rhymes, imaginative stories and musical instruments.
Our programme and syllabus has been carefully designed by leading preschool dance and ballet experts. Our classes provide the opportunity for babies and young children to learn to dance and develop key life skills in a healthy, sociable, caring and safe environment. babyballet is so much more than just a dance class and we can't wait to welcome you to our magical world.

Our classes run in line with School terms, our current term runs from Friday 28th February 2020 to Friday 3rd April 2020.
Each session is 35 minutes long.

Join babyballet for a three week trial for just £15. Thereafter classes are £5.50 per session payable termly in advance

Meet Miss Leah
Miss Leah is the owner of babyballet Clipstone, Rainworth and Southwell and will be teaching your little ones in classes. Miss Leah started dancing when she was 4 years old, and after attending her first dance class she fell in love with dance and in particular ballet. She continued to dance right through to her late teens, performing in annual shows, events and Examinations. After leaving school Miss Leah studied law and pursued a career as a Solicitor. She worked for many years at a law firm in Nottingham and became a Partner, but her passion was always dance. She launched babyballet Clipstone, Rainworth and Southwell in January 2019 and is having the best time!
