Yo-Chi is a Seasonal yoga, Qigong and mindfulness well being programme for children 3-11 years. Each class is tailored to your child's age group and teaches them tools to take care of their body, manage their energy, balance their emotions and feelings of anxiety that all children experience in todays world.
Our programme is designed by specialists and delivered in schools, holiday clubs and in private sessions.
It is one of the most innovative health and well being programmes in the UK today!
Yo-Chi combines breathwork, relaxation, Seasonal Yoga, Qigong, drama and mindfulness. It also includes learning about our organs and the food we eat through our vibrant animated organ characters, 100's of Yo-Chi energy based exercises and yoga games, role-play for emotional awareness. The children receive a little book to take them through the seasons and remind them of what they have learnt in the session.
We encourage children to learn tools that will help them learn to manage their energy, balance their feelings and calm feelings of anxiety. The environment of the Yo-Chi is inclusive and calm and all our teachers are fully trained and DBS checked.

Yo-Chi was designed by a leading yoga teacher, drama specialist and head teacher.
There is no other programme like it in the country that combines yoga, Qigong, Drama and mindfulness for children.
Nature gives us a toolbox of integrated health and exercise systems for body, mind and spirit to share with children and young people!
Children today live in a very fast paced world and with the rising dependency children and young people have on technology we need to counter balance this with education of healthy practice and tools for physical, mental and emotional awareness. Children are a part of nature, and seasonal activities connects them with these natural rhythms.
Childhood is a vibrant time when natural energy and creativity is rising, when the eyes and minds are open and learning can be fun. However, the tendency of our fast paced society is to rush children into adulthood, brought about by the desire for them to succeed, pack their schedules and leave little time for family and play. Teachers and parents can so often feel inadequate or under stress in the face of this present social climate and its demands. Not only does exploring the wisdom of nature’s cycles give clear answers as to why this happens, but constructive ways to address all areas of life from exercise to food, from social interaction to self-awareness.
By helping children to channel such energy through Seasonal Yoga and relaxation they will learn to balance it appropriately and it ceases to become something that is out of their control.
