What started like a fantastic play time and a bonding exercise between my baby boy and I, soon became a concept I was keen on taking further and sharing with others so they can have as much fun as we do. Yes, we are passionate about messy play, creating loving lasting memories and enjoying fun times!

My journey with Mess Around started as an attendee to one of their sessions. I immediately related to the concept and found it fascinating; my little boy certainly threw the biggest tantrum I have ever seen the first time we attended and the session came to an end, as he was having lots of fun and did not want to go home! I enquired with Mess Around Ltd soon after attending our first session and found out a franchise for the NG postcode area was available, so I registered my interest straightaway and here we are, living the messy dream!

I lived in London for many years and moved out just two months before my baby boy was born. This was one of the hardest decisions I ever had to make as London is my favourite place in the whole world and I enjoyed every single moment of my life there. However, it was for the greater good as I did not wish to raise my family in such a busy, expensive and potentially dangerous place. We lead a very happy life in Nottingham and we are always looking forward to our next session and to spread the messy word all across Nottinghamshire!

I am a hard-working, enthusiastic and super crazy single mummy who loves a challenge, so on top of running Mess Around Nottingham I also work full time Monday to Friday as a Business Analyst, which is why we only run sessions over the weekends. Most working parents feel so left out as most playgroups run only during the week and I love being able to provide a space for families to bond, play and have a super fun messy time. Weekend sessions are normally attended by the whole family, which creates such a lovely and even better party atmosphere!

I have loved every single moment of my journey with Mess Around as it has given me the opportunity to find what is now one of my greatest passions and has brought so much into my life at all levels. My little assistant and I couldn’t be happier to be part of this messy, loving & supporting family!
