Dancers at the whistler school compete throughout the year and pupils have had great success at competitions, 2 pupils have achieved All England titles in recent years
Pupils also take part in BATD examinations and Laura has lead 4 dancers to professional level.
Highland Dancing is a great hobby and the whistlers are a strong friendly team. Whether you want to join in for a great way to stay fit or dance to a championship level all are welcome.

Meet Laura Whistler
Laura has been dancing from the age of 3 and is professionally trained in Highland, Scottish National and Ballet.
Her passion for Highland Dancing has lead her onto many accomplishments such as winning the All England Adult Championships 2 years in a row (2012 and 2013), becoming an official RSOBHD adjudicator on the World Wide Panel and travelling to India and China to dance with the TA Pipe Band.
Laura is also an official member and qualified Highland and National dance teacher with the BATD (British Association of Teachers of Dancing).
