How did I become a franchisee when I was a Bilingual Communications Manager, running a million pound turnover company…what was I thinking?

When my son was five or six months old, I went to Jolly Babies in Bracknell. It was a lovely gentle session that I looked forward to each week and was sad to say goodbye to.

At that time I decided not to return to my London based job where I was a total workaholic and to be a stay at home mum for a short time before picking up my business career again. We relocated to Newbury to ease the commute for my husband but unfortunately there was no Music with Mummy there.

My Bracknell class teacher asked me to start up sessions in Newbury but I thought this was the most ridiculous thing to do and so not me….until I started thinking more about it; looking at my personality; my experience through my work; my business degree; my previous musical talents both singing and playing the flute and piano….so here I am!

The result now is that I am so very happy to have had this opportunity and feel I have found the real Ruth. I have a loving husband, two amazing children who have both become musically talented and a job that has become part of my life and not a chore – I truly am a very lucky lady and appreciate everything in my life.

I truly hope that you enjoy the sessions as much as I have and still do and that you meet other mums and families through me to share your experiences with. I pride myself on getting to know my clients and appreciate the relationships we have together, supporting when in need and enjoying the fun times too!
