PRESCHOOL (2.5 - 4 years)
If your child is starting school next September then help prepare them with our play led, energetic, fun phonics classes.

Each class encourages children to hear and recognise phonemes and teaches them the skill of blending and segmenting sounds: the foundations for learning to read and spell. All of this in a low pressure, high energy, engaging and exciting 45 minute session.

MINIS Class (12-30 months)

Each class gives toddlers the opportunity to explore sounds and rhymes, and develop and enhance speaking and listening skills as well as activities to improve gross motor skills. These classes are full of games and movement to make sure both you and your child have so much fun that you don't even realise that you're learning!

The class is a perfect introduction to phonics as class sizes are kept small to allow teacher/child interaction and give every child the opportunity to take part and succeed.

All our sessions include:
-Nursery Rhymes - Experts have concluded that if your child knows 8 nursery rhymes by heart by the age of 4 then they'll be better readers by Year 3. At Sounds Right our aim is that your child will know at least 10 by the age of 4 to give them an extra academic boost.

-Action songs - To improve muscle development, visual stimulation, eye tracking and develop gross motor skills over time.

-Instruments - Helps the body and mind work together and fire up more synapses in the brain! Music also encourages listening skills and ultimately develops sound discrimination; which will aid your child with phonics when they are older.
