Hi, I'm Kim and I run TinyTalk baby signing classes in the Mansfield and Ollerton areas.

When my son Ewan was born in 2017 a friend came to visit and advised me to try TinyTalk classes as she thought they were the best classes she had been to with her two children. I signed up and at 5 months old we attended our first TinyTalk baby signing class and loved it! By 8 months Ewan received the certificate for his first sign and by the time he graduated from the TinyTalk Toddler Talking classes he had in excess of 100 signs and 150 words.
Signing really helped to quell some of Ewan’s frustrations when he was younger and his speech was still developing. By using signs to support his speech, he could tell us when he was tired, could ask for a drink or a snack and he could communicate his feelings and emotions to us which helped by taking out some (but not all) of the guesswork.

I was so passionate about baby signing and the advantages of it, that I decided to become a TinyTalk teacher when the opportunity arose and here I am today!

TinyTalk baby signing classes are suitable from birth to about 2 years.
Our classes are 60 minutes long and consist of signing, songs (nursery rhymes and children’s songs, that you can then repeat at home) and sensory activities, all of which incorporate signing.
All classes end with 30 mins of 'social time' including refreshments and children can 'play' and parents/carers can chat over a drink and a biscuit.
