Fun, creative workshops in which children explore creativity, design, model making, problem solving, teamwork.
Group is split into 2 where older children are grouped to work together and younger children are also grouped in order to stimulate working at appropriate ability.
The highlight of the term is at the end when children present their work to parents and special invited guests from architecture or education. Children receive an Archimake Course Completion Certificate and a bound Portfolio of their design work.
Archimake is an Arts Award accredited centre and children who attend multiple terms can work towards the Bronze Arts Award which is a Level 1 GCSE equivalent qualification.

Meet Cheryl Pilliner-Reeves
Cheryl is a fully qualified architect qualified academic who and has been a Senior Lecturer in sustainable architectural design for 12 years at The CASS School of Art Architecture and Design, London Metropolitan University. She has also been a senior tutpr at City University, London on the BEng Civil Engineering with Architecture course. Cheryl is the Sustainability Director at PR Architects and has featured on BBCTV 100K House and Channel 4 Phil Spencer Secret Agent.
Cheryl founded Archimake out of the need to introduce and nurture children's interest in design and the built environment in advance of University education to widen participation and support children who showed passion for 3D design that would not be supported adequately at school due to lack of available expertise.
