Book Club at Lotta Love Learning Primary Years inspires children to discover the thrill of literacy!

The Book Clubs are aimed at children 7-9 years.
Fun and packed with games, stories, music and art that are proven to entice even the most reluctant of readers and writers and refine those vital literacy skills.

♥️ Books are chosen carefully, enjoyable stories that can be appreciated by readers of varying abilities.

♥️The book club is happy and relaxed as the aim is to inspire and boost confidence whilst developing vital literacy skills and having fun!

♥️All club members are encouraged and supported to read aloud in a non-judgmental environment with games and stories to boost confidence.

♥️We discuss the book, the characters and the authors writing techniques as a relaxed verbal comprehension and the children use these in their writing to create their own mini book!

♥️Book club members leave with enhanced literacy skills for formal comprehension and writing tasks as well as a positive growth mindset towards reading and writing.


Puzzle Club at Lotta Love Learning Primary Years inspires children 7-9 years to solve puzzles with verbal & non-verbal reasoning.



♥️The puzzle Club is stimulating, supportive & challenging; nurturing independent creative critical thinkers.

♥️ The clubs start with a fun brain warm up game followed by some practical puzzles to solve.

♥️ Puzzle club teaches children strategies and methods to solve both non-verbal and verbal reasoning puzzles, similar to those used in the CEM and 7-11+ tests.

♥️ Club members develop perseverance, resilience & strategical thinking to solve puzzles in a fun relaxed way.
