Baby Sensory is the only Baby Development programme with classes specifically designed for babies from birth.
Baby Sensory classes provide hundreds of simple activities that are fun for babies from birth to 13 months. Our baby classes include baby activities ranging from signing to fibre optic light shows, amazing light balls, bubbles and bells; there is always something different. Many of these activities are set to our own Baby Sensory music which is available on CD. What is really exciting about Baby Sensory is that it is a parent and baby group where many of the sensory materials and baby activities are unique to the programme. Baby Sensory provides ideas for creative play, massage, tummy time, movement, and music in simple practical ways that can be easily repeated at home. We also use a combination of original and traditional songs and rhymes to develop early speech and language skills, and sensory signing activities to help you and your baby communicate from birth.
In our themed weeks, you and your baby will swirl through snow, laugh at the jungle jitters, explore a watery world undersea, join us on an animal adventure, watch the little ducks float by on their tummies, and marvel at the magic we have created!
Every week is different and introduces new sensory development activities supported by useful information to help you interact with your baby and discover what he or she can do. There's always something new and exciting to look forward to!

Classes run for a full hour and are separated into either 0-6 months, 6-13 months or mixed 0-13 month classes

Classes are booked in blocks - each term block runs for between 6-8 weeks Prices vary depending on term length, but the price per session is £7

Meet Heather Brown
Hi, I'm Heather & I own Baby Sensory & Toddler Sense in Lancaster, Lune Valley and Wyre and have been running classes across the area for the past 4 years.
I set up Baby Sensory after attending a class with my son whilst on maternity leave and fell in love with Baby Sensory!
My nearest class was over an hour and a half away, so I decided to bring the magic to Lancaster - 2 years after starting Baby Sensory, I took on Toddler Sense as well, and I love spending time with so many lovely families across the area each week!
I absolutely love running classes - it's amazing watching babies learn, grow and develop each week, and seeing them start to recognise the songs and sign along! That moment when they wave goodbye for the first time or show us that they can sign 'stars' is truly magical, and gives me goosebumps every time!
