Hi, I’m Lyndsey and I run Mini First Aid classes throughout Edinburgh, West Lothian & beyond. As a qualified Midwife, a first aid trainer and a local mum to two boys age 16 and 12 I’ve dealt with numerous first aid situations and emergencies. I feel passionate that everyone should know first aid as you never know when something will happen and it’s important that you have the confidence and knowledge to deal with the situation.

In the Mini First Aid Early Years class children learn about how to call for help, the importance of knowing their address and the recovery position. These are taught in an interactive and age appropriate way.

In the Mini First Aid Kids class we are aware that children this age are starting to be more independent and can understand basic first aid. In the 1-hour session, children learn to deal with bumps, burns, breaks and bleeding, carry out CPR and deal with choking.
