The Pauline Quirke Academy of Performing Arts provides tuition for young people from 4-18 years.
Our PQA Poppets sessions (4-5 years) are 1.5 hour sessions in singing, dancing, musical theatre, and acting.
Students (6-18 years), spend three hours with us, rotating through hour-long sessions in Film & Television, Comedy & Drama and Musical Theatre. Students are split into groups according to their age and are taught by professional industry tutors.
West End Opportunities
PQA students can live the dream of performing in the West End! Every 2/3 years, our academies take to the stage at His Majesty’s Theatre in London’s Theatreland!
Performances
Every child enjoys the thrill of live performance at least once a year, whether through public productions, internal showcases, or performances at professional venues.
Film Screenings
PQA isn’t just about the stage—it’s about the screen, too. Students will see their hard work come to life during our red carpet cinema screenings, where students celebrate their filmmaking achievements.
Quirky Kidz Agency

Meet Susie Magill
I have always wanted to be a professional actress ever since I was nine years old! As a child and teenager, I attended various Saturday theatre schools including the famous Anna Scher Theatre and loved every minute of it! I was a timid child and acting gave me the confidence that not only helped me in my career but in my everyday life. I eventually went on to full-time drama school after winning a scholarship, and graduated from The Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts in 2006. Since leaving Mountview some of my credits include The Bill, EastEnders, Sainsbury's and Asda commercials, The Woman in Black in the West End, Ben Elton's Popcorn and the stage production of Alfie. Most recently the Alex Rider series and a voice over for BBC’s Victoria Derbyshire.
