Jigsaw was established in 1995 with a desire to pass on the joy of performing arts.
Dedicated to developing performance skills, promoting self-expression and building confidence, we offer weekend performing arts classes during term times and week long workshops in the holidays.
Students at Jigsaw are divided into age appropriate groups, ensuring that they receive the right level of focus and attention in drama, singing and dance.
90 minute sessions | 3-4yrs and 5-6yrs.
3 hour sessions | 7-8yrs, 9-11yrs and 12-18yrs.
Our teachers work in the performing arts industry, have passed our rigorous training programme and have a DBS check.
Every student can benefit, in some way, from the performing arts. While some join Jigsaw to build a firm foundation for a professional performance career, others do so to unlock their hidden talents, overcome their shyness or increase their confidence and social skills. However, what all students enjoy is having fun through drama, singing and dance classes, while making lots of new friends.
Jigsaw offer a two week trial to give new students a taste of the experience. The two week trial payment is deducted from the total fees when you sign up for the rest of the term.

Meet Natalie
Natalie trained in Musical Theatre at The International College of Musical Theatre (ICMT) and worked as a professional actress for many years. Her stage credits include an Italian tour of West Side Story, Greenwich Pantomimes’ Jack and the Beanstalk, Into the Woods, Tom, Dick and Harry, and When Midnight Strikes.
Natalie began her Jigsaw journey in 2015, teaching performing arts alongside her acting career. She went on to teach drama, dance, and singing at various Jigsaw schools before opening Jigsaw Hemel Hempstead in 2021. In 2024, she proudly became the owner of Jigsaw St Albans as well.
As a mother of two young children, Natalie is deeply passionate about the positive impact the performing arts can have on young people—giving them a safe, nurturing space to explore their creativity, build confidence and self-esteem, and believe in their potential.
Natalie is incredibly proud of her dedicated Jigsaw team, who embody the core values of Jigsaw and work together to make every class a fun, inspiring, and supportive experience.
