Rugbytots is the UK's first rugby specifically designed play programme for young children between the ages of two and seven, using the multiple skills of rugby to create a fun and enjoyable environment whilst developing basic core motor skills.
Each rugby class session aims to develop hand-eye coordination, balance and agility, as well as enhancing social and psycological attributes through a series of games and exercise.
Today, over 80,00 children in 20 countries on seven continents are now part of the Rugbytots family. Here in the UK, over 1000 coaches deliver more than 5,000 classes per week. These classes are proving extremely popular with children and parents alike, with new classes being added every day.
Our fun, structured play sessions take children on a journey of sporting imagination with engaging and energetic coaches supporting them every step of the way whilst teaching how to catch, pass, kick, run with the ball and play as part of a team.
Our motto is simple; "make it more fun". We do this by delivering our specifically designed programme for each age group with energy, enthusiasm and excitement. This creates an atmosphere in the class that is totally unique and engaging for parents and children alike.

Meet Michael Porter
I was lucky as a young boy to have fantastic coaches that truly inspired me to play and develop within the sport of Rugby. Looking back, I see now that their passion for the sport, their guidance and support was actually 'a gift' - I was hooked - Rugby has been a part of my life for over 35 years.
Whilst in my role as a Teacher and in my spare time as a Minis Rugby Coach (Sunderland Ashbrooke) I understand the importance of creating a fun, safe learning environment.
I have a natural ability to relate to young people and enjoy teaching and participating in both sporting and educational activities that help learners not only develop individually but also socially.
I have been a life-long member of Sunderland RFC (joined aged 7) and have had the pleasure of playing 1st team rugby for 14 years. I am still an active member of the club and have developed a real passion for coaching – coaching the colts for 2 years.
Upon my son turning six, I signed up to the minis section and I am currently Lead Coach for the Under 6’s to Under 8’s. I am fully committed to inspiring young players to learn and develop their skills by providing sessions that make the game interesting, exciting and enjoyable.
I am known for my infectious enthusiasm, positive attitude and sense of humour and I always strive to establish positive relationships with fellow professionals and learners. I have a calm, patient and positive approach with young people and I am always willing to provide support and guidance so that learners feel motivated to achieve goals/targets.
