Jo Jingles has been running since 1991 and is one of the UK's largest providers of fun and interactive pre-school music, singing and movement classes – for babies and children from 3 months to 5 years!
A happy little fellow dressed in red and yellow, Jo Jingles, our cheery mascot doll, loves to wave, clap and stamp his feet…. but most of all he loves to meet babies and young children to share the fun!
Delivered by specially trained and experienced class teachers, our themed sessions are educational with musical instruments for each child and lots of props including parachute, lycra, puppets, bubbles and more!
By introducing your child to the fun world of music at an early age you will help them:
- Build routine and structure
- Improve language and speech
- Stimulate imagination
- Build social skills and make friends
- Find and feel rhythm to move and dance
- Improve balance and coordination
Come and join in the fun! Classes are age specific and run for 30 - 45 minutes during term time.
But the learning experience goes further than that!
- Every child will get some hands-on fun with at least two percussion instruments each week including for example: Tambourines, Drums, Bells and Shakers.
Watch as they join in with Little Jo who brings special surprises in his bag each week and is always ready to move to the music with fun actions – and with over 1,000 songs under his belt, from old favourites to the more unique, you can rest assured every class is different from one week to the next!

Meet Katie Fitzmaurice
My name is Katie Fitzmaurice and I took over the Jo Jingles Ipswich Franchise in January 2016. I run classes in Ipswich and the surrounding area from Stowmarket down to Hintlesham, across to Woodbridge and Felixstowe.
I am a qualified teacher and worked in an Ipswich primary school for the last 10 years. I also have an Early Childhood Studies Degree.
I have two children of my own who have both loved attending Jo Jingles classes with me since they were tiny. I have seen their confidence grow and the fun and educational benefit the classes provide. We all love Jo Jingles so I am really happy to be running the classes and look forward to meeting lots of new Mums and children as well as those who have loyally supported JJ previously.
